The front is decorated with the initials VR (Victoria Regina) in red enamel interspersed with diamonds surmounted by an enamelled crown set with diamonds

The diamonds are eight cuts

Horse and Crown Gold Signet Ring Cameo Hallmarked Chester 1916A heavy 18ct gold signet ring depecting a horse's head on top of a ducal coronet crown with three strawberry leaves. The ring is marked 750 for 18ct gold inside the shank with an import mark and the makers mark is "EMF" in a trefoil. There is no date later but I would expect this ring to have been made post 1950.
