Markova appeared in ballets around the world, and is remembered mostly for her Giselle, The Dying Swan and Les Sylphides. She also appeared in Hollywood movies. Signed photo, shown dancing on stage, 8 x 10 inches, stamped on verso by South African musician, later turned famous photographer Houston Rogers (1901 1970). Photo has a vertical crease near the left
